Dear Annunciation Families,

We are writing to inform you about an important change to programming for the 2024-2025 school year.

Starting in September, Annunciation Catholic Elementary School will no longer offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). This decision follows engagement with the Annunciation school community, including administration, staff, and families.

We want to assure you that our commitment to providing a high-quality, rigorous education remains unchanged. While the fundamentals, culture, and spirit of the IB framework will still be a key aspect of teaching and learning, the costs associated with being a member of the International Baccalaureate can now be repurposed and targeted toward addressing specific learning needs in the school community. This will enable us to better focus on the school's mission, vision, and educational objectives. 

We are grateful for the support and participation of our students, families, and staff in the IB programme over the years and remain committed to providing an excellent Catholic education to every student in our care.
